MEET VINCE CONVERSE

Vince Converse, an award-winning Texas blues guitarist, has played professional blues and funk-rock guitar since 1990. Originally from Houston Texas, his 33-year career started fresh out of high school when he signed a deal and proved himself a big dog on the Lone-Star-State blues scene. Touring internationally, his band Sunset Heights, was wildly successful and he made a name for himself by the age of 23.

Over the years, he has worked with industry icons such as Pete Brown (Cream), Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix -producer) and cut heads with some heavy hitters- not to mention opening for legends like BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, George Thorogood, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Vaughn, Tab Benoit, Sammy Hagar, The Mississippi Allstars, Taj Mahal, Keb' Mo', Robert Cray (Little Feat), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Canned Heat, The Yardbirds, Peter Green, The Animals, and more.

In the studio, he has recorded and been featured on releases with Jeff Beck, Gary Moor, Leslie West, The Delaware Destroyers, and Tommy Mandel to name a few. His latest album, Vince Converse and Friends will be released early 2023.

He has played some of the country’s iconic venues, including: Red Rocks Amphitheater, Cynthia Woods Pavilion, Fillmore West, Fiddler’s Green, and The Famous Antone’s in Austin Texas - as well as hundreds of venues and festivals around the world.

Today, Vince is a heavy-hitter on the Denver Blues scene. With his husky, heavy voice and his powerful command of the craft, Vince has everyone whispering, holy sh*t this guy’s legit- all show long. He has a distinct sound - a pure, straight-shot tone that travels through the room, leaving audiences hypnotized and tingly in all the places. He travels from slow blues to full funk jam and back again- building up the energy with untouchable guitar solos and adventurous musical detours, breaking it down again. Blues lovers longing that deep, Southern slide will not be disappointed. Vince can take a jump swinging crowd to a hushing halt when the coricidin hits the strings.

The Album
